A Polícia Militar evitou na tarde de domingo (22), uma tentativa de suicídio, no município de Correia Pinto, após rápida intervenção em uma residência onde havia situação de risco iminente.
Inicialmente acionada pelo COPOM para averiguar uma ocorrência de violência doméstica, a guarnição foi surpreendida por um pedido urgente de ajuda feito pela solicitante no local. Diante da gravidade do cenário, os policiais precisaram intervir imediatamente.
Durante a averiguação, os militares encontraram um homem de 56 anos em situação crítica. Com atuação técnica e controle emocional, a equipe realizou verbalização e conseguiu conter a ocorrência, evitando o agravamento do fato.
O Corpo de Bombeiros foi acionado e prestou atendimento pré-hospitalar. A vítima foi encaminhada ao Hospital Faustino Riscaroli para avaliação médica.
Um Boletim de Ocorrência foi registrado para as providências cabíveis.
